Review:
Photojojo photography blog is a website full of tips on achieving the best of your photography ,DIY projects, and promotion/review of jojo's favorite things.
Jojo's website seems like it appeals to crafty people ,which doesn't really apply to me and a lot of others as well. She does not provide much variety for her viewers to look at while browsing her website if their interests are not crafts.
As well as not being a fan of Jojo's Blog Content , her blog's layout is very messy and well not being very organized. Jojo has all of her content in one large page on her blog with no side bar for categories ,which would make it easier for new viewers to navigate her blog and see if there's any interest in returning.Another layout problem i find in her blog is her aesthetic. Her font ,color, animation choice come across as childish and send out unprofessional vibe to the blog and make in unappealing to look at and navigate. Though i know this blog is right up some people's alleys with DIY crafts , it's just not something i enjoy or have interest in and there's nobody personally i would recommend this blog to,because it is far to unorganized and childish.But if you find joy in crafts, and always looking for reviews on products then this blog would probably be a perfect fit.And i will not be adding this website to my bookmarks and i will more than likely not revisit this page ,because i found nothing that struck my interest.

Rate 2: I found nothing appealing to me on this blog, and the layout/aesthetic wasn't good.

Something i found interesting:
Good news photo lovers - the Metropolitan Museum of Art is now offering 375,000 digital pieces of art for public use. These images would look beautiful printed on archival quality, thick Fine Art Prints from Parabo Press (hint hint).'

This blog post is one of the view post that i actually had interest in on this blog and enjoyes reading about. I think it's awesome that the MET released so many art pieces digitally to the world.Though i guess the museum kind of loses value because people won't have to visit it to see what's inside. But it does make it extremely convenient to majority of the world who can't make the trip to new york city to get to experience the museum in person.

selfie vs. self potrait

What is a selfie? a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media.

What is a self portrait?a portrait of an artist produced or created by that artist.

Is there a difference? If so, what? theres really no difference in the end product, but the process to get there is different

What style do you prefer? self portraits

Is one more valuable/important than the other? Why? i believe self portraits are more valuable, because its a longer process and can be considered as art.

Self portraits and selfies in the end have the same ending product, a photograph of the person whom took it. But the process is incomparable.Though the selfie is convenient and updated, a self portrait holds more value. The self portrait has history, and a process of evolving from paint, to film, to now digital.

The selfie has been a recent of the last 5 years or so ,and compared to a self portrait seem similar.  

 Now in social media era a person is judged by their profile picture, which almost always a selfie, because now a days having someone take a photo of you or taking time to take a self portrait is 'too difficult'. As well as ruining a art form ,i believe selfies have created a harsher judgement from one person to another.Selfies have formed their own form of critique/culture that include having a good angle, lighting,and your face looking good ,or now 'on fleek'. 

Even though i personally do not compare a selfie to self portrait for many reasons, does not mean i don't see the good in them. I understand that they are convenient, and fun at times.

Now personally ,i appreciate a self portrait. In the Social media world we live in, i feel like everyone desires everything to be quick.It's a true shame that the rarity of finding a person who prefers self portraits over a selfie is so small. Sure its a longer process, but they've come a long way to what they were now. Self portraits have came from icons like Frida Kahlo painting her self to distract herself from heartbreak, film camera self portraits in the mirror, to where we are now having advanced digital cameras with view finders to help us and make the process easy.

Overall self portraits are my preferred style. They are comparable is some ways, but i think the beauty in the art and time it takes for a self portraits is something that selfies cant compare to.
